How do I submit documentation as a Victim of Human Trafficking?

To submit a request, a victim of human trafficking (or their representative) must send the following information to ScoutLogic:
  • Proof of Identity: This typically includes a full name (including any previously used names) and current address, along with copies of government-issued ID, a utility bill, or other identifying documents.
  • Trafficking Documentation:
    • A determination letter from a federal, state, local, or tribal government entity.
    • A determination from an authorized non-governmental organization (NGO) or human trafficking task force.
    • A self-attestation signed by the victim and certified by a representative from an authorized entity or court.
  • Identification of Adverse Items: A clear list of the specific items on the consumer report that resulted from the trafficking experience and should be blocked (e.g., specific accounts, criminal convictions, etc.).
  • Preferred Method of Contact: A preferred method of contact (e.g., email or a safe mailing address/P.O. Box), to be used for all communications regarding the submission and for no other purpose.
